How It All Started
Pups Kickin’ Parvo, also known as PKP, began with love, loss, and a promise to create change.
After losing her beloved dog, Sushi, to parvo, our founder turned her heartbreak into a mission: to help protect other pets and prevent families from experiencing the same devastating loss. What started as one promise has grown into a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to helping pets stay healthy, safe, and with the families who love them.
What does PKP do ?
Today, PKP supports pets and their families through free DHPP vaccinations, emergency veterinary assistance, pet food support, community cat TNR, education, and other lifesaving resources.
Everything we do honors Sushi’s memory. With the support of our community, we are working toward a future where fewer pets suffer from preventable illnesses and more families have access to the help they need.
How does PKP provide FREE services.
At PKP, everything we do is powered by people who care. Through fundraising events, generous donations, and strong community partnerships, we work alongside local veterinary providers to make vaccinations and essential pet care more accessible.
Together, we help remove financial barriers so pets can stay healthy, protected, and right where they belong—with the families who love them.
